As you can see from the title we're incognito! We just got back from a three week trip visiting the western Washington and the Hood River, Oregon area. Had a ball! We had an opportunity to spend a few days at Cape Disappointment State Park which is right on the Washington coast at the mouth of the Columbia River. The beach was long, wide, and fantastic! The camp site was really neat. All the campsites that had full hookups were in pods of 10 with each camp site separated from neighboring sites by trees and natural vegetation.
From our camp site we could walk a short distance down to the beach. Lots of things to see and do. The park has a beautiful interpretive center detailing the Lewis and Clark expedition. Ilwaco is close by and is mainly a fishing port.
From there we went to Hood River to visit Brian and Joelena and the little ones Dean, Troy and Chaz. They are so cute!!! It was a wonderful visit.
